Amber Sevilla started her love of dance at the age of 7 with Wendy Calio at the Sabrina Starr Dance Studio. Amber has trained in all forms of dance, including jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and hula. Dance provided her many opportunities and fond memories, including taking part in numerous dance competitions and workshops, dancing as the Sugar Plum Fairy in the studio's production of the Nutcracker, and being honored as Dancer of the Year in 1999.
Amber taught Creative Movement and Pre-Jazz at Pas De Deux since it's opening in 2010 and stopped teaching when she became a mom to twins in 2014. She also was a member of the jazz dance company, Dance Couture. Amber continues to work as the head administrator for Pas De Deux and loves working with all the families and students. She was born and raised in Wahiawa where she continues to live with her husband, dog Ruckus, and her twin girls. She is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and has a Master Degree in Elementary Education from Chaminade University.
