Born and raised in Hawaii, Juliette has always loved dancing and singing, and especially musical theatre. For ten years, she performed with a theatre troupe, the Performing Arts Center of Kapolei (PACK) and received training in dance (jazz, ballet, contemporary, and tap), vocals, acting, and improvisation. With a particular affinity for tap, she was asked to join Punahou’s TapCo, and trained under Caryn Yee for 4 years.
Juliette is proud to have competed at the National Performing Arts Festival in 2014 and 2017, with her theatre group PACK, as well as a solo tap performer. Both the group and solo performances received Superior ratings in their competitions. In addition to performing in over 30 productions with PACK, for the last 3 years she’s choreographed their Summer Program Introduction to Musical Theatre, and for 2 years has taught tap to the Keiki Group. She has also performed at Diamond Head Theatre.
Since 2012, Juliette has been part of Kaiser Permanente’s Education Theatre Program. This program tours schools statewide, and teaches healthy habits via music, dance and drama. Performing with ETP has allowed her to work with hundreds of students over the years. Juliette loves teaching and working with children, and feels that dance can be a powerful tool to encourage determination, communication, self-esteem, and inner strength. But, it’s also a lot of fun!
